This is a beautiful original vintage jewelry or trinket box from the 1920's - 1930's. It is made of brass metal that has been hand etched / engraved and hand painted with enamel paint. It has peacock birds and vines with leaves on all sides. It is lined inside with a wooden lining. It is square in shape and measures 3 1/4 inches by 3 1/4 inches and 1 3/4 inches in height. It is in very good condition inside and out. It is quite heavy for it's size and is very well made.
