This is an original Torquay Motto Ware teapot. The motto on the back is: Life has no pleasure nobler than friendship. It measures 5 1/2 inches or 14 cm in height not including the top lid and 4 1/2 inches or 11.5 cm in diameter not including the side handle. It is signed on the bottom. It is in great condition inside and out and would be a wonderful addition to a collection or a gift to a friend.
