This is a lovely original antique / vintage Japanese or Chinese porcelain ginger jar. It has been beautifully hand painted and measures 6 inches or 15 cm in height and 5 1/2 inches or 14 cm in diameter. It is signed on the bottom. The top lid has a repair as photographed. Other than that, it is in very good condition for it's age. It would be a nice addition to a collection. The colours are gorgeous. It can also be used as a vase without the top lid.
