This is a rare antique Lyon's Tea advertising money box savings bank from the early 1900's. It is a trunk or chest shape and has old British coins on the top. The coin slot is on the side to insert coins. I think it once may have even had a key as there is an escutcheon on the front but this may just be for looks. It is green, gold and black in color and the inside of the lid says, Lyon's Tea Saves You Money. It has some light wear and patina as photographed. It is in good condition for it's age considering it is well over 100 years old. It would be a nice addition to a collection. It measures 5 1/4 inches in length, 3 1/2 inches in width and 3 inches in height.
