This is an original antique Victorian silver plated box from 1860. It is engraved on the top I.G. 1860. It measures 3 1/2 inches in length, 2 1/8 inches in width and 1 inch in height. I think it may have originally been a snuff box but it can also hold trinkets, jewelry, etc. It is in good condition for it's age.
