This is an original antique Victorian William Shakespeare door knocker. It is made of solid brass and is signed Stratford on Avon Shakespeare's House. Under the knocker, it is signed Born 1564 Died 1616. The back is signed Rd No 531160. It measures 5 inches or 13 cm in height and 2 1/2 inches or 6.4 cm in width. It is in very good condition for its age.
