These are original antique Victorian opera glasses / binoculars from the late 1800's. They are made of brass and mother of pearl. The side handle that is seen in all of the photos is a finger handle which a chain or rope can be added to hang around the neck or shoulder or on a belt. They measure 3 1/2 inches or 9 cm in length and 1 inch or 2.5 cm in height and the width is adjustable as you adjust the magnification. They are signed with a letter C inside a starburst. I am not sure where they were made, possibly France.
