This is a lovely antique mauchline ware treen wood match holder and striker. It is in the form of a barrel and is attached to a wall plaque so it can be hung on a wall, probably by a fireplace or stove. The match striker is on the bottom of the barrel. The barrel measures 2 1/2 inches in height and 2 inches in diameter. The wall plaque measures 7 inches in height and 3 inches in diameter. It is in good condition for it's age and would be a nice addition to a collection.
