This is an original antique Victorian young girls needlepoint / embroidery and cross stitch sampler. She has embroidered her name, Jane Annie Armstrong Aged 14 1877. It comes framed in a gold gilt wood frame and including the frame, it measures 17 1/2 inches square. It is such a sweet sampler with lots of different stitches, the alphabet, initals of her family members, animals, flowers, people etc.
