This is a beautiful original antique wooden jewelry or trinket box from the late 1800's - early 1900's. It is made of burl wood or burr wood and has cow bone inlay around the edges. The top of the lid has the initials NQ inlaid onto the top. This box measures 3 3/4 inches in length, 2 3/4 inches in width and 1 1/4 inches in height. The cow bone inlay has a small chip on the corner as photographed and the very bottom of the box has a small crack but this cannot be seen inside and can only be seen when you turn it upside down. Other than that, it is in great condition for it's age.
